We know it is tempting to skip these terms & conditions, but it is important to establish an understanding of what you can expect from us as you use “Hero Locksmith” services, and what we expect from you.


All intellectual property on the Website is owned by  “Hero Locksmith” or our licensors, which includes materials protected by copyright, trademark, or patent laws. All trademarks, service marks and trade names are owned, registered and/or licensed by us. All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, software, code, designs, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, applications, interactive features and all other content is a collective work under Canadian and other copyright laws and is the proprietary property of the company; all rights reserved.

The following policies disclose the privacy practices for “Hero Locksmith”. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected within this web-site. Policies & Conditions we stand by: What personal information is collected from you through our web-site, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared; What choices and options are available to you in regards to the use of your data & personal information; The security procedures in effect to protect the misuse of your information; and how you can correct any inaccuracies in any given information.


Information, collection, use, and sharing; we are the sole owners of any shown content. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via/ email or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell, share or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. With your consent, we may contact you via/ email in the future to tell you about special offers, new products, services, or changes to this privacy policy. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data & addresses), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

We are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage caused as a result of your use of any third party services linked to you from our website since our end is encrypted and secured.

The terms and conditions set out in the customer’s order shall not apply to any contract made with the Company unless expressly agreed with the company in writing prior to the date of such contract.

To the extent, any part or partial of these terms and conditions is held ineffective or invalid by any court of law. The prior, effective version of these terms and conditions be considered enforceable and valid to the fullest extent.


We may need to interrupt your access to the website to perform maintenance or emergency services on a scheduled or unscheduled basis. You agree that your access to the website may be affected by unanticipated or unscheduled downtime, for any reason, therefore we will have no liability for any damage or loss caused as a result of such downtime. 

When arriving at your car,  home or business, our technician will show ID. If the locksmith who arrives at your door declines to show ID, please take a photo of them and send it to 204herolocksmith@gmail.com. When arriving at your car,  home or business, our technician will also ask for your ID, depending on your inquiry, for security & safety purposes. Mainly for lock-out services, this step would be mandatory, “Hero Locksmith” has the right to decline a job/ operation momentarily at any point of given time if a technician suspects a false criminal code.


We are not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of using the website, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The maximum liability of “Hero Locksmith” arising from your use of the website is limited to no greater than one hundred ($100) Canadian Dollars or the amount you paid to “Hero Locksmith” in the last six (6) months. This applies to any and all claims by you, including, but not limited to, lost profits or revenues, consequential or punitive damages, negligence, strict liability, fraud, or torts of any kind.


We can not accept responsibility for others promoting our service as something that we do not do or in a different light at which it is NOT meant to be used. Other claims by other organizations, businesses or groups are not any responsibility of “Hero Locksmith”. We will only provide the service that we offer and not anything that has been misconstrued by our advertisers.

Prices displayed on leaflets and adverts are correct at time of print. Prices may change after printing and old leaflets and adverts may still be processed depending on its expiration date. Prices charged for jobs will be the latest (most updated) prices as displayed on our website.


The copyright, design rights, and artwork on the website, and all promotional material belongs to “Hero Locksmith” . All other intellectual property rights are reserved. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this web site. You may only download to your personal computer for viewing purposes and print out a number of pages of this web site for your personal use.


If you call and tell us exactly what is wrong, we can give you an estimated price for the work over the phone. This price is an estimate only and subject to change as it is very common that the actual lock or situation may not be completely as described. We charge more for entry to doors with extra security, covers, security handles and guards as they require more time, expensive equipment, and tools to open. Sometimes a customer can say it is a normal (regular- security) cylinder lock when it actually has higher security handles & layers covering the lock. “Hero Locksmith” reserves the right to adjust the estimate once on site and add any extra security surcharge as listed on this website. An adequate extra sum of $ will be additionally charged depending on the situation. Although shown prices in our price list are guaranteed for that type of work.

Sometimes additional work is required on doors to access the locks, for example: a job where the lock is behind another lock and that would be considered and chargeable as two entries.

All goods supplied by the Company and all materials used in carrying out any services for the Customer shall remain the property of the Company until payment is made in full.


“Hero Locksmith” offers a no entry – no fee guarantee that if you call us out to open or bypass a lock, and for some reason our technician is unable to gain entry by either opening, bypassing or destroying the lock then our technician will simply walk away and not charge you a dime.

A special case where a customer will cancel our services after a locksmith’s arrival, a service call may be charged depending on the location of service.


Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, contact us immediately via telephone at 204-800-0969

All estimates are given and all orders are accepted subject to the availability of goods, and the company shall not be liable for failure to perform, or for any delay in performing the contract or any part thereof caused by acts of missing good, strikes, lock-outs, force majeure or any other cause beyond the control of the Company.

“Hero Locksmith” shall not be liable in respect of any goods supplied or any services carried out unless the customer makes a complaint within seven days of the delivery of such goods or within seven days of completion of such services.  It is the responsibility of the person notifying any faults to be available if required to demonstrate a complaint. Failure to do so could result in the service being chargeable. “Hero Locksmith”  shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the customer or caused by reason of supply of goods.


The “customer” is whoever the company shall enter into negotiations with and/or contracts with for the supply of any goods or to carry out any service.

Particularly, if the managing agent orders work/service on behalf of a third party, the managing agent is deemed to be the customer and thus responsible for any account.

 “Hero Locksmith” service includes any repair or maintenance work.

“Hero Locksmith”’ working hours are 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday inclusive, including bank holidays, and 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Although we do work and service clients 24/7/365 and are available after these posted hours.

We charge fair rates and we will be at your home, car, or business within a reasonable time frame of up to 25 minutes in most case scenarios. Depending on your situation, location of the service and the time of the day, we will seek to you an appropriate delivery time appropriate to your situation. We do not mislead, misguide or dishonor any pricing information to our customers, nor do we say technicians will be there within an unreasonable quick time. We found an average of 25 minutes to be ideal for trips around the city’s perimeter. When provided with enough information about the situation, we will provide an estimate of repair over the phone. We stand by our professionalism and reputation and guarantee not to over charge.


-All services received by the client must be paid in full upon completion of work. All materials are property of “Hero Locksmith”, until paid in full. Authorization of payment to be completed at a future date must be approved by a member of management. Final work will be evaluated by the client for mutual approval.

Payments are accepted in the form of check, credit/debit card or cash. Money orders are not accepted as a form of payment.

For estimates/quotes a 25-50% deposit is required prior to the job in some cases.

Clients requesting deferred billing are required to make payment at the time of completion for the first scope of requested services. Clients requesting deferred billing must be pre-qualified, using the “Business Credit Application.” 

Upon approval, the client’s payment for the approved account is strictly 30 days from the date of invoice.

The Company will be entitled to charge an administration fee of 15% per month on overdue accounts starting from the end of the stated credit period on invoice. Goods correctly supplied will be subject to handling or restocking charge, if accepted for return.

The Company is not obliged to accept goods for return other than obligations under the Canadian law.

Any goods eligible for return must be in good and re-saleable condition.  Skin packed goods cannot be accepted once opened.

Non stock items specially ordered cannot be accepted for return.

Any queries regarding any invoice must be notified in writing to “Hero Locksmith” within 7 working days of the date of invoice.


All discounts and offers are offered as a good will gesture by the owner. They are subject to the terms of only one discount per, or one offer can be used at any time.

Discounts will be applied to the full price, they cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts such as the multi-buy entry discount and the discounted 2 lock deals (combo). This includes discount cards and vouchers which can only be applied to the item’s full price.

Discounts and offers can be removed/discontinued at any time and the management’s decision is final.

Discount cards, leaflets and offers must be presented when the total price has been given, before the invoice sheet is filled in and before you make the payment. Once payment has been made and the work slip for the agreed price is signed the discount cannot then be made or the amount of the discount refunded.

*10% discount for seniors and students, photo I.D or Education I.D

$20 for opening your vehicle, house or room if your kid or pet is locked; condition applies to pets (discount is offered only when pets are in danger, eg. stuck in an enclosed hot /cold vehicle).


-90 days for newly installed parts and services maintenance.

-We are not responsible for any misuse or damages to the locks provided and/or serviced by the end user.

-Returns are not applicable and bill must be paid in full at time of service

-90 days of any labor performed – Unless parts were recommended to be replaced by the locksmith technician (example- repairs and installs)

-Call backs or returned services beyond the associated guarantee periods will be subject to a service fee at minimum.

-“Hero Locksmith” is not responsible or liable for any damages incurred as a result of services rendered and/or provided to you.

-Furthermore, we are not responsible for any damages resulting from weather or climate related issues and subsequent visits will be subject to a service fee for on-site services unless otherwise specified.

-Signature of payment constitutes acceptance of the above service performed as Satisfactory and property has been left is good condition

-All hardware, labor, and work completed by “Hero Locksmith” is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of installation except for malfunctions due to abuse, vandalism and or other circumstances beyond company control. No warranty is provided for repairs on existing parts, tampered work or work performed by another locksmith.

-No warranty is provided on parts, hardware or products purchased from external sources other than “Hero Locksmith”.

-No warranty is provided on parts, hardware, or labor that is affected due to weather conditions.

–Door closers are warrantied for 90 days. This does not include adjustments that will need to be made during weather change.

-Custom Work (Inclusive of framing, door installation) – Work completed by “Hero Locksmith: is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of installation for all custom work. Modifications on existing material are not covered under liability by “Hero Locksmith”. Any material or labor exposed to extreme weather conditions, vandalism, or abuse will not be covered under our warranty.

-Telephone Entry System and Access Control System- One year warranty for parts and labor. A manufacturer warranty is provided for specific brands and/or products. Please contact the manufacturer for detailed information.

-“Hero Locksmith” will need access to the basement/other locations in the building during the installation/repair. Clients MUST provide a dedicated telephone line prior to installation. Please contact your phone provider. Also, clients must be on site at the time of installation to both sign off on finished work, and receive training for their requested operation.

–Wired intercoms– Wired intercoms are warrantied for 90 days. This does not include: speakers, amplifiers, transformers. Also, customers must be on site at the time of installation to both sign off on work done and receive training on how to operate the system.

–Wireless intercoms– “Hero Locksmith” is not responsible for connection issues between the system and any wireless devices. If a call back is requested and the issues are connection based, a $20-45 trip charge and hourly rate for troubleshooting will be applied

-All quotes involving intercom, access control, and video systems are effective if all existing parts and wiring are compatible with new hardware being installed. Existing wiring MUST be in working condition / full functionality upon installation. If no existing system is in place this need does not apply.

-No warranty is provided for repairs on existing parts or tampered work.

-Multi-Lock Installations– Keys and cards will be provided to clients on the day of installation. By signing the invoice, you will receive a Multi-Lock high security card and keys. “Hero Locksmith” does not keep any information of the card or keys provided

-All products and or hardware installed require regular maintenance and upkeep. Normal maintenance which will customarily require periodic adjustment, cleaning, and resetting to operate properly following the dates of their installation

–Restocking fee – 25% Restocking Fee will be assessed on all returns and cancellations.

–Low voltage products – No returns are accepted for any low voltage products – final sale.

-All hardware (panels, security hardware, locks, and products physically provided by security consultant) are provided with a manufacturer’s warranty. Client agrees to adhere to manufacturer terms and conditions.  Failure to do so will suspend all “Hero Locksmith” warranties.

-Our company reserves the right to discontinue or suspend services to vendors/clients at any time.
